How to become a powerhouse performer without sacrificing vulnerability, fear, weirdness or being real? Led by choreographer Liina Magnea, this workshop approaches the contemporary performer as a multidisciplinary force: movement, voice, acting, character and bodily practice collide in a post-aesthetic attitude where expression is key. Working between instant reaction and delayed agency, participants train immediacy, transformation and presence—shifting between authority and fragility, control and collapse, precision and excess.
✳︎ The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience, skill level or physical ability.
Liina Magnea is a Berlin-based artist, choreographer, performer and musical composer whose work revolves around character, transformation and unstable identities. Through shape-shifting choreography, she merges and mutates archetypes, allowing characters to slip between authority, vulnerability, absurdity and menace. Drawing on internet culture and her concept of the “post-brutal,” Magnea combines music, movement and film dramaturgy to explore psychological fragility, compulsive behaviour and the strange figures produced by contemporary life.
